Domperidone
Anti-emetic and Prokinetic Agent
A dopamine antagonist used to relieve symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and gastric motility disorders. It acts peripherally to increase muscle contractions in the stomach and intestines (prokinetic effect) without readily crossing the blood-brain barrier. It is commonly used to treat functional dyspepsia and acid reflux when combined with PPIs.
