Doxycycline

A broad-spectrum tetracycline class antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and chest infections. It is also used to treat skin conditions like acne and rosacea, and for the prevention of malaria in travelers. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth. It is generally not recommended for children under 8 years of age due to the potential for affecting teeth development.
