Dutasteride
5-alpha Reductase Inhibitor (BPH/Hair loss)
A potent inhibitor of both type 1 and type 2 $5\alpha$-reductase enzymes. It blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone ($\text{DHT}$). It is used to treat BPH by shrinking the enlarged prostate, and to prevent hair loss, often combined with an $\alpha$-blocker like Tamsulosin.
