A flavanone glycoside abundant in citrus fruits. In pharmaceutical use, it is often micronized and combined with Diosmin to treat Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) and hemorrhoids. It works by prolonging the vasoconstrictor effect of norepinephrine on the vein wall, increasing venous tone.
