Non-selective Beta-Blocker
A non-selective $\beta$-adrenergic receptor blocker used for a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, angina, tremor, migraine prophylaxis, and anxiety (stage fright). By blocking both $\beta_1$ and $\beta_2$ receptors, it slows heart rate and decreases cardiac output, but also causes peripheral effects like bronchoconstriction.
